I’m so lucky
my pockets
always full of
shopping receipts
old tickets and odd buttons
Otherwise so many words
would work free of me
CANNIBALISM
Hidden within walls
old pipes
must sing in the night
At four when
silence takes over
you can also hear electric wires
cackling
And the aching floors moaning
The rooms devouring
themselves
